Nomenclature Revision for Encapsulated Follicular Variant of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.

  Abstract. Importance  Although growing evidence points to highly indolent behavior of encapsulated follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (EFVPTC), most patients with EFVPTC are treated as having conventional thyroid cancer.
